Child-Parent Relationship Therapy

Child-Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT) teaches parents how to conduct 30-minute special playtimes once a week with their child using the skills of a child-centered play therapist, making parents the therapeutic agents at home! Parents learn therapeutic responses to respond to their child's feelings with empathy, empower their child to develop skills of self-control and self-responsibility, build their self-esteem, and set therapeutic limits. The tools of CPRT provide a powerful means of connection with your child and profound insight into your child's inner world.

The standard group format consists of a 10 session training program with up to 8 participants that meets for 2 hours once a week. I'm able to provide standard groups as well as individual trainings depending on the need. I'm also happy to collaborate with you on the best way to provide you with this training based on your current needs and situation.

If you'd like to learn more about CPRT and collaborate on training options, feel free to give me a call, send me an email or text, or schedule a free 15-minute consultation with me below!
